My plan
- I will take the photograph on Tuesday February 19 using a camera that I will ask miss Chebly for on that day. I will go and take the picture in the butterfly garden or in the grassy feild next to the computer lab. I do not believe that I will need a tripod because I can use a friends help with taking the picture. Once I get to the place where I take my picture I will take 5-10 pictures of my face or just of my ear.
- On Thursday February 21 I will pick the photograph that I like the most and edit it using photo shop 6 or picassa. My plan is that if I have a picture of just my face I will leave the ears and delete the entire face. I can also just use a plain picture of my ear and put it repetetive times as the backround.
- On Monday February 25 I will begun working on writing the text. I plan to write and essay with a description of my ear. I could use a poem if I need a last minute backup plan.
- On Wednesday February 27 I will set up how my pictures canvas is going to be using Photoshop 6 or Picassa to make my canvas 5*7 inches.
- And finally on Friday February 29 I will print my picture and stick it to the sheet with the text.

Information on the ear
Interesting fact
There are muscles above a horses ear that lets him turn them, humans have the same muscle but only some are strong enough to just wiggle them.

MLA citation and explanation of use
I used this page because it is kid friendly and easy to use. Another reason I wanted to use it is that the person who made the cite actually included his name and that was very helpful.
I added this one because it was made by an education organization called the Nemours Foundation.
I chose this source because it is made especially for students in High School by a special and acknoledged Student Resource Center
Howstuffworks How hearing works. 2008. Howstuffworks, inc.. 7 Feb 2008
This is made by and organization that focuses on explaining how many parts of the body work. I use it because it has easy to understand and acknoledged.
I chose this site because it is linked to a technologically advanced student friendly website.

The Best Part of Me
Guiding Questions
Which ways can I learn things from this project that could help me in the future?
How will I use this project to learn how to use a tripod and a self timer?
What is my favorite part of my body?
Relation to the Areas of Interaction
This project is related to Approaches to Learning because we will need to learn how to use some materials like a camera and learn useful description skills.
It is related to Homo Faber because I need to use a camera to take pictures and then have to edit them on a computer using Programs like picassa or Photoshop.
The project is related to Health and social education because we will need to study and to learn about every aspect of my favorite part of my body.
Relevance of the Problem
The usefulness or importance of the problem is that we will learn how to use a tripod for taking a self-portrait. During which we will need to learn the ways of being able to take the self-photograph by using a self-timer. After taking the picture we will have to better or improve our describing abilities for the writing part of our project. This way we will know more about our uniqueness and be grateful for the problem.
The Problem
How can I express the best part of me through photography and writing? We will need to have a camera for taking our picture and then write about it. The main aspect of the problem is that we need to do this because we will take this to our advantage in the future by what we learned.
